As a kid, I used to love to watch the clouds roll by and try to make something of the shapes in my imagination. I saw this sealed crack on a street on my walk this morning and immediately saw something in it. When I originally saw it in person, I thought of a dragon, but now that I see the image of it, I think it looks more like an alligator.

Anyway, what really caught my attention was the fact that this was an old road that has seen countless freezes, heat waves, and heavy trucks, as well as at least one 4.4 magnitude earthquake recently. A little bit of tar and it remains useful for road traffic as well as for an overweight middle age man to get his exercise.

And a little bit pertty in the form of a Nevada alligator.
