• While we will continue our traditional efforts of direct aid to cavalrymen and their families, we are now embarking on a new project and are asking for your assistance.
• Our contacts in the military have introduced us to the issue of Iraqis in need of assistance when they come to the U.S. to settle. These are Iraqis who have risked their lives and the lives of their families over the last 5 years in order to help U.S. cavalry forces perform their mission to create a free, peaceful and prosperous Iraq. In some cases these Iraqis have lost relatives and their homes and remain targets, and while there are some programs to help bring them to the U.S., there are few programs to help them financially once they arrive.
• So we are raising funds to help them with their transitions in the U.S. We have vetted and will continue to vet each candidate to ensure they are deserving of aid. We also operate as a no-expenses entity, so whatever donation you make will be passed entirely and directly to the identified recipients. In addition, we are a registered 501(c)3, so your donation is tax-deductible.
